Firma Hakkında

Turquoise Yachts, formerly known as Proteksan Turquoise, was established in 1997 by two leaders of the Turkish boat building industry.

Proteksan Yachts Inc. and Turquoise Yacht Construction. The company’s major shares changed hands in 2014 and MB Holding became the major partner. The company started the business with the building of M/Y Turquoise (present Double Trouble) Turkey’s first world-class superyacht. Following the success of M/Y Turquoise, 20 other megayachts, ranging from 40 to 72 meters, have since been delivered to their owners.

Making use of both the space and labour force that a two-yard combination offers, Turquoise Yachts aims to deliver four first-class luxury yachts each year.

- Facilities -

Turquoise Yachts has two shipyards, one in Pendik, Istanbul and one in Gölcük, Kocaeli.

Pendik:
The Pendik facility was completed in 2007 and is an impressive 25,000m2 landscaped location capable of accommodating four yachts of up to 85m in length simultaneously. It boasts a dock length of 110m and is used expressly for interior decoration and finishing work.

The shipyard is located just a few minutes drive from the International Sabiha Gokcen Airport which connects the city to the major capitals of the world and plays host to private jets. The shipyard has direct access to the Sea of Marmara for initial sea trials, which is conveniently just minutes from the yard’s dock face, as well as being just a short sea passage into the heart of the Mediterranean.

Kocaeli:
The second shipyard is located in Kocaeli across the bay from Pendik Shipyard. Here is where the steel and aluminum hull and superstructure work is completed, as well as the installation of machinery and heavy piping of up to 50,000m2.
The shipyard was established in 2005 and is a 500,000m2 facility with a 120m dock. Currently building 50m to 75m+ hulls (of both aluminum and steel construction) the yard has the capability and facilities to build yachts with an overall length of up to 120m.
