QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Work experience – 5 – 7 yrs.
Qualification – BE/BTECH or ME/MTECH in Mechanical Engineer or Equivalent
Office location – Turkey
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Thorough understanding of engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with ISO standards – ISO 9001 & ISO 17025 and corresponding documentation procedures
5+ years of relevant work experience; preferably in turbomachinery development
Strong knowledge of CAD tools (Solidworks)
Product database management familiarity like PDM
Able to work under minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of fluid dynamics, HVAC concepts and systems, blowers, motors, sheet metal, and equipment development.
- Part and Assembly BOM generation with assist tools like MBD
Design and Documentation (ISO)
Project Management training or experience
Knowledge with regulatory agencies such as EN, ISO ect.
Vibration analysis and FMEA knowledge
Process flow diagram (PFD), control plan generation for development product
Design parameters modeling in accordance with analyses team systematically
Participation in the development of test concepts
3D simplification and clean up for CFD/FEA simulation
Gathering data from numerical modeling and arriving to a conclusion for continual product improvements
Basic working knowledge of development phases – SCRUM/Roadmap
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English or German
As a 3D Modeling Engineer, mainly focus rests on project mechanical design. The duties for this position involve reviewing market specifications, performing mechanical design calculations and associated analysis, preparing manufacturing drawings as well as presenting, documenting and updating of these activities to others as necessary.
This position will require supporting all active R&D development projects based on departmental Roadmap. The position may require some degree of interaction in a team of engineers, as well the production team and the headquarters R&D center.
Position must consider minimizing risk and exposure to the company when working with all inter/intra department team members while meeting project deadlines as and then set by reporting member of team.
