Accounting Analyst
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist who will be based in our office in Istanbul.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performing daily accounting activities according to internal procedures
- Responsible for month end and year end activities
- Check all expenses, Sales and Purchasing invoices and Booking Invoices
- Processing and following up invoice transactions and Ensure that all vendor invoices are booked to the correct cost centers
- Prepares and analyzes financial statements and monthly reports
- Prepares balance sheet reconciliation
- Supporting the department manager for VAT1-VAT2, Corporate , Temporary , Stamp and Withholding tax declarations.
- Assists with audits by providing supporting records and documentation
- Conducts studies and develops solutions for improving accounting processes
- Prepares Tüik Reportings
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in Accounting field
- Competent with advanced features of Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and proactive approach
- Familiar with SAP system / JD Edwards is a plus
- Payroll experience preferred
