QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Anatolia is a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of ceramic and stone tiles and is a major supplier to some of the largest home centers and distributors throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Toronto, Anatolia is a privately owned 100% Canadian corporation that is growing rapidly.


Anatolia has been operating in Aliaga, Izmir, Turkey since August, 2017 in its 60,000-square meter Distribution Centre. With this facility, Anatolia has been supporting its North American Customers, and continues to expand to new markets in Europe, Asia, South America and Middle East. In addition to its Distribution Center, the construction of Anatolia’s 250.000-square meter ceramic manufacturing facility is in progress with operations commencing in 2022.


Anatolia is now searching for a Accounting & Finance Manager to join its expanding team in Aliaga, İzmir. With this role, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing timely support to internal and external stakeholders. What you need is…

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics or equivalent,
  • CPA/CA qualified,
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience (including at least 3 years managing a team),
  • Experience in a manufacturing cost accounting environment; Start-up experience is a plus,
  • Proficient in accounting, tax, financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and cash management
  • SAP knowledge is an asset, especially SD, FI,MM and CO modules
  • Self-motivated and result oriented
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Advanced team management, effective communication
  • Fluent in English,
  • Living or relocating to İzmir.


As a Accounting & Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Structuring and operating a company-wide finance function; designing, developing and implementing related policies, procedures and SAP systems for our new factory,
  • Establishes and implements the operational process work-flow,
  • Being responsible for general ledger operations (month closing,tax, invoice transactions),
  • Controlling VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax, Provisional Corporate Tax and Form BA, BS declarations,
  • Creating budgeting processes and establishing a strict tracking system for budget targets,
  • To ensure that the income and expense records of the company are kept in accordance with the law,
  • Preparing the company's financial reporting in accordance with local and international legislation,
  • Follow up closely working capital performance of the Company and keep it up to date,
  • Controlling exchange rate valuations, month-end reconciliation and reporting,
  • Managing the manufacturing facility’s financial reporting, budget and control operations,
  • Managing all relationships with the consultants, banks and other financial and tax institutions.
