Movus Logistics is a joint venture company established by Getir B.V. and Dinçer Lojistik Inc, operating to provide Getir’s country businesses with the logistics services they need.

The scope of Movus spans the design, implementation and operations of distribution centers, transportation services, reverse logistics and sustainability solutions among others.

You will report directly to the Head of Finance.


Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions through well-reconcile general ledger, sub-ledgers and bank reconciliations,
  • Invoicing of monthly costs to foreign companies
  • Review and finalize balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with regulations and internal control system
  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost accounting and taxes,
  • Help with quarterly and year-end tax activities and the annual corporate tax audit,
  • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements,
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, tax declaratious (VAT, corporate tax) to ensure accuracy and completeness,
  • Making sure proper documentation is maintained and followed on,
  • Managing month end closing activities,
  • Maintaining the financial records and statements as per company policy, relevant countrys’ local laws and regulations,
  • Making sure that company complies with all relevant countrys’ local laws and regulations on time,
  • Preparation, review and declaration of all the tax through tax consultants,
  • Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions,
  • Coordinating and solving matters with consultants, auditors, tax authorities and other teams.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in in Business Administration, Economics or similar disciplines,
  • At least 10+ years experience in accounting
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Advanced level of MS Office applications;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Tax knowladge
  • Up to date knowledge of Turkish GAAP,
  • Experience in import & export accounting
  • CPA (SMMM) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles
  • Attentive to detail and ability to analyze large amount of data
  • A highly motivated team worker, problem solver, decision maker and initiative taker in planning and organizing various work assignments
