Tchibo is a unique company because it operates both as a retailer and coffee shop, and also sells its FMCG branded products through retail chains and its own online store. Initially having focused more on non-food retail in Turkey, over recent years Tchibo Turkey has emphasised its coffee heritage and expertise in its local offering
We’re looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our growing organization.
Job Description:
*Performing daily accounting activities,
*Supporting month-end closing activities,
*Preparation of Overdue Reports and Cash Flow Statements,
*Calculation of monthly DSO,
*Supporting Shops, Accounting Payable and Accounts Receivable processes,
*Supporting cash flow activities, and preparing bank instructions,
*Following up collections and participating in new collection methods implemantation processes (such as DDS),
*Preparing documents for internal and external audits,
*Dealing with shops’ requests related to accounting and finance topics,
*Performing reconciliation with customers,
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in related fields (i.e. Business Administration / Economics/ Finance)
*Minimum 3 years prior experience in a related position
*Preferably experience in retail and/or FMCG sectors
*Good knowledge of Turkish GAAP, Turkish tax and accounting requirements
*Experience in e-ledger, e- invoice and e-archive processes
*Good knowledge of SAP FI
*Good command of English (preferred)
*Customer oriented & team player
*Ability to work under strict deadlines
