In parallel with our capacity growth we are leveraging our finance department and looking for our new partner that join us as “Accounting Specialist".
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in General Accounting, in a multinational companies is an advantage
- Good command in English; verbal and written communication required to communicate with global teams
- Good command of MS skills, specially Excel
- Good knowledge SAP is an advantage
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles
- Being a partner for success, good organizational and communications skills
- An analytical and problem-solving approach
- Living or willing to live in Adana
- Military service obligation for male candidates
Job Description:
- Follow up day-to-day accounting functions through well-reconcile general ledger, sub-ledgers
- Performing the accounting records of the documents in a timely and complete manner, to ensure that the e-invoice, e-archive invoice
- Follow up supplier invoices into the system
- Making sure proper documentation is maintained and followed on
- Coordinating the daily accounting transactions between the BU’s and the headquarter accounting
- Responsible for balance sheet account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Contact for internal and external audits
- Supporting HQ reports
- Preparing supplier aging reports
- Posts foreign currency transactions
- Experience in working simultaneously with two different ledgers (Local GAAP Local Currency Ledger and Group Ledger USD Currency) is an asset
- Experience in SOX policies/procedures and audits is an asset
- Assisting with other accounting projects, as needed
- Prepare ad hoc requests from management
- Strives to improve the operational process workflow
