Besiktas Shipping Group is currently looking for Accounting Specialist to join its Accounting Department located in Head Office / Şişli.

Qualifications

· Bachelor degree's from arelated fields (Finance / Accounting or Business Administration)

· Minimum 5 years in accounting experience

· Experience in accounting operations, legislations in Tax, Social Security and Labour Act

· Good knowledge in tax return and tax reports,

· Good command in English, both verbal and written especially in financial accounting

· Excellent use of Microsoft Office apps and financial softwares

· No military obligation for male candidates

· Strong analytical skills , accuracy and problem solving skills

· Able to work both independently and collaboratively

Job Description

· Modify and maintain all accounting transactions

· Completion of Turkish Statutory accounting; from base level journal entry to preparation of Monthly Tax Declarations (Withholding Tax, VAT, Stamp Tax, BA/BS Declarations) Quarterly and Annual Corporate Tax Returns)

· Follow up of ordering, replenishment and inventory management process with customer operations

· Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger

· Follow up all payments, cash and bank transactions

· HR responsibilities

· Providing and interpreting financial information

· The accounting specialist will provide accounting support to major financial accounting fields including accounting payables, receivables, general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.

· In case of need communicating with clients, to discuss account statuses, charges or discrepancies,
