QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Omya is a leading global producer of industrial minerals – mainly fillers and pigments derived from calcium carbonate and dolomite – and a worldwide distributor of specialty chemicals. We seek for an Accounting Specialist and the ideal candidate is expected to have the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• At least 4 years of experience in accounting
• Solid experience in both local and international accounting principles as well as IFRS
• SAP Knowledge
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good team player, having strong leadership skills
• Result oriented, attentive to deadlines, dynamic, goal oriented

Job Description

• Preparation of regular Tax Declarations
• Maintain Group Reconciliation among local subsidiaries
• Execute monthly closing process, as well as financial and tax audits
• Give support for the preparation of yearly Transfer Pricing Reports
• Ensure related transactions are in accordance with Group Guidelines & Manuals and assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
• Handle import/export expenses bookkeeping
• Manage SAP fixed-Assets module
