PAGETEL, is a subsidiary of General Dynamics Mission Systems- İtaly, located in IZMIR, specialized in the design, manufacturing and integration of Military Shelters and telecommunication systems, is looking for Accounting Specialist with the following qualifications:
General Qualifications
Graduated from the departments of universities such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance
At least 3 years of experience in General Accounting processes,
Knowledge of Turkish GAAP and tax legislation
Able to use MS Office programs effectively and having sufficient knowledge of excel for reporting and analysis
Experienced in Netsis would be a plus
Prone to Teamwork
Want to build a career in the Finance Department
Having advanced business tracking capability and following the whole process related to the work
Good level of English speaking, both written and oral
Preferably holding a CPA license or has started CPA internship
Job Description
Ensuring that all accounting records are kept in accordance with the Turkish GAAP
Keeping expense invoices in accounting records in accordance with company procedures
Taking part in Year-end Fixed Asset and Inventory Counts
Supporting the preparation of the VAT Return Report and carrying out the correspondence with the tax Office
Preparing VAT 1, VAT 2, Stamp Duty, Gekap Declarations, Supporting the preparation of Temporary and Corporate Tax Declarations
Checking and entering the personnel expense forms into the system
Recording monthly foreign exchange difference records, depreciation control and recording
Carrying out e-ledger, e-invoice, e-archive processes
Supporting financial processes such as preparation of payment orders and accounting of bank records.
Preparing and finalizing online reconciliation process,
Supporting the external and internal audit processes (coordinating the independent audit processes and working with accounting and audit teams)
Carrying out other accounting processes defined in General Accounting (entry of accounting documents into system, control, archive management, etc.)
