Accounting Specialist

Job Description:
We are looking for a detailed oriented “Accounting Specialist” who will be responsible for invoicing, payment planning / following and financial reporting processes of our company.
This is a full-time, on-site position at our Istanbul office. We are looking for a team member who has advanced knowledge of English (written and verbal).
Responsibilities:
Running daily accounting tasks for both local & global operations
Monitoring bank, tax, and current accounts, providing timely making of payments
Following up client payments
Communicating and cooperating with clients (members) in related countries in order to coordinate invoicing, payment and refund processes
Preparing weekly, monthly and yearly financial reports
Following monthly accounting closing and foreign reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar departments
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting (experience in agencies or IT companies is a plus)
Familiarity with digital marketing terminology is a plus
Experience in Paraşüt (or similar online accounting software), Microsoft Office and Google Drive applications (Xero and Stripe experience is a plus)
Accounting and bookkeeping know-how
Excellent command of written and spoken English
We are looking for a team member, preferably who has experience working in marketing and advertising agencies or IT related companies.
Knowledge about the tax system in the UK is not necessary. You will be working directly with our team in Istanbul and our Accountancy firm in London.
