QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an "Accounting& TaxManager" (L5) for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Turkey.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant
- BRSA Legislation, Turkish Tax Legislation Knowledge
- Turkish GAAP and IFRS Knowledge
- Good understanding of financial services products i.e. leasing, financing, insurance, wholesale, etc.
- Min 8 years experience in financial services / banking sector
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, SAP
- Strong follow-up of legal requirements
- Fluent English
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Motivate people to top performance
- Share knowledge and experience
- Ability to direct and supervise
Job Description:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
General Ledger
SAP Integration with the customer management system and BI
Tax Management
Month-end and year-end processes
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements for BRSA
- Manage the monthly financial reporting to Mercedes-Benz Headquarters
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits (Tax & Statutory)
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Coordinate and complete BRSA and Central Bank audits
