· Manages relationship of a defined number of Global & Multinational customers and prospects in particular sectors (serves as primary contact for the customer; coordinates the account e.g. with related stakeholders)
· Ensures that Key Account activities are aligned with global/regional sector strategy
· Delivers the regional and/or country customer budget by maintaining a healthy pipeline, good contractual performance and proactive thinking
· Works on regional customer initiatives and for implementing global business plan contents
· Collects relevant customer information for the RFI/RFP/RFQ and prepares documents for customer implementation in order to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer expectations (SLA's & SOP's)
· Updates Regional Customer Managers and executive sponsors at regular intervals, ensuring they have an awareness of business critical issues
· Executes global/regional sector strategy
· Manages relationship with key stakeholders in global as customer point of contact on country level
· Supports Field Sales Specialists in important customer interactions
· Acts as a coach for Field Sales Team
· University degree from related departments .
· Customer management experience & sales background is strongly required
· Good understanding of sector issues in the global forwarding industry and knowledge on air and ocean freight
· Ability to identify customer needs and building long-term strategic relationships
· Ability to win, develop and close new business • Well-developed communication and presentation skills
· Good command in English both in written and spoken
· Strong analytical skills
· Self-motivated and teamwork oriented
· Driving license (B) with driving experience
