QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for ensuring Safe Working Environment within his area of responsibility.
- Accountable for purchasing agricultural RM materials that meets company quality standards.
- Responsible for contracting farmers and ensures all paper work is properly handled in line with local laws and company standards.
- Represents company in the field and ensures protecting reputation of the company among farmers and suppliers.
- Responsible for controlling the field to ensure high quality raw material supply. Provides technical support to farmers to guarantee high yield is taken from the field.
- Controls the calibration process to ensure proper size of products purchased
- Responsible for logistics of the harvested raw material to be delivered to the factory in a quick and safe way. Identifies and contracts with local logistics providers on behalf of the company.
- Supports farmers with documentation and any paperwork that is required by the low or company policies and procedures.
Education:
University degree of BSc in Agricultural Engineering from a reputable university.
Experience:
· Agricultural purchasing background and proven track record of working in fast paced Operational environment
· Demonstrable leadership skills
· Working knowledge of logistics
· Experience of Agricultural RM materials planning and management
· Sound knowledge of Good Agricultural Practices
