QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for an Agronomy Associate position who will be responsible for trialing in GAP region, Turkey in a contractual basis for eight-months period.
Your Challenge:
- Support selection process of best farmers and fields for Corteva yield trials in GAP.
- Support trial planting operations in GAP region.
- Control trial management performed by farmers: irrigation, weed control, cultivation, following instructions of Corteva colleagues.
- Closely and regularly communicate trials conditions with Plant Breeding and Agronomy team.
- Support process of phenotyping.
To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
- University degree – BSc. from faculty of agriculture, field crop production department.
- Good command of English as well as Turkish is essential.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in related fields.
- Ability to interact with growers and to give clear directions to contractors.
- Good management of Microsoft Office package.
- Availability to travel nationally within GAP Region.
- Valid driving license.
- This position will be employed under our service provider with a eight-month fixed term contract.
