We are looking for a "Research and Development Engineer" for our company located in Turkey's biggest technology development zone Bilişim Vadisi, Gebze with the following characteristics:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of work experience
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Enthusiastic for new generation electrical and autonomous vehicle technologies
- Knowledge of heat transfer and thermal systems in vehicle architectures
- Experience in test and validation of mechanical, heating and cooling components
- Experience in MATLAB/Simulink is an asset
- Planning and organization ability
- Ability to translate design concepts into physical objects
- Ability of effectively work and communication with all departments
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) within global organization and strong presentation skills with strong analytical and technical problem solving ability

- Living in Gebze; Kocaeli or Anatolian side of Istanbul.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Work in mechanical, thermal and control design of automotive R/D projects
- Analyse thermal systems in both component and system level
- Draw and modify 3D data of components and systems by using Catia V5
- Manage prototype production planning processes
- Analyse technical specifications for HVAC, vehicle cabin, powertrain systems and components
- Communicate with suppliers and customers for technical aspects of the components
- Analyse electrical and thermal needs of electrical vehicle sub-systems and components
- Co-ordinate and support the design, development, manufacture processes of Rinnova R/D projects
- Perform feasibility studies for new projects
- Necessary research to find new products and technologies
- Follow up and identify automotive regulations in related fields
