QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Profile

  • Organizing import & export shipments schedule with related country's transportation team and providing import & export documents and sharing them with customs broker and related departments.
  • Organizing daily custom clearance operations by communication with customs broker and tracking them in order to ensure optimum prioritization.
  • Tracking shipments according to forwarders & customs broker's daily reports and sharing information with Inventory Planning and Warehouse departments in order to perform proactive stock management.
  • Solving any possible issues during import & export between customs broker, forwarders and dispatchers.
  • Following import & export regulation changes and informing related departments about these updates.
  • Completing necessary in advance applications for import process. Such as Tareks .
  • Controlling and tracking logistics and customs related invoices, reporting and analyzing logistics costs
  • Tracking performance of forwarders and brokers, reporting logistics KPI's and working in collaboration with the suppliers to improve them
  • Tracking agreements deadlines with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Supporting distribution planning team to track and finalize customer complaints which are related with cargo delivery process.
  • Expecting to have Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor certificate
Qualifications
  • University degree in Economics, Business Administration or Foreign Trade
  • At least one year of experience in related field (logistics, import & export )
  • Team player with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Result oriented, flexible to work in a dynamic environment
  • Advanced knowledge of English
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Applications; especially Excel, Access
  • Military service must be completed for male candidates
  • Residence at Anatolian side or Kocaeli is a must
