Agakim, an internationally recognized emulsion polymer producer is hiring for an Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager to employ at their plant in Adana, Turkey. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with the following qualifications and abilities:
Education
• Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
Experience
• Minimum 10 years of proven international and national sales management experience in the chemical industry. Expertise in water-based emulsion polymers is a plus.
Language skills
• Excellent command of the English language in both written and oral communications. Working knowledge of another foreign language is an asset.
Analytical skills
• Good financial acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to support effective decision-making.
• Understands budgets, metrics, and the importance of meeting sales targets.
Communication skills
• Acts with integrity, inspires trust, communicates transparently, and can understand customers’ operations to provide exceptional customer service and finalize sales contracts.
• Must have good interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with other departments.
Computer skills
• Ability to use computer software programs. (e.g., Windows, Microsoft Office, Logo Tiger)
Travel
• Willing to travel to foreign countries regularly to develop new markets.
• A valid driver’s license
