QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking for an “Audit Data Analyst” colleague at AgeSA and Aksigorta, who will be reporting to Agesa and AksigortaInformation Systems and Data Analytics Audit Manager. He/She will be primarily responsible as a data analyst for the activities carried out by the Internal Audit function to provide assurance on the company's risk, control and processes.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related fields,
- Master's degree, CAP, Open CDS or similar certificates are asset,
- Specific subject matter expertise and a solid business understanding of technology, coding, data analytics and data management as well as IT security principles,
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data modeling,
- 3+ years of hands-on experience on SQL,
- 3+ years of hands-on experience on Python,
- Experience in creating interactive visualization and business intelligence platforms
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently,
- Analytical thinking, problem solving skills and ability to make reliable and objective judgments,
- Advanced oral and written command of English,
- Willing to come up with new approaches and ideas, thinks critically, is open to leaving the comfort zone and learning continuously.
Job Description
- Leads the digital transformation of the Internal Audit function,
- Constructs, codes and maintains Internal Audit data analytics models,
- Examines the data architecture in process audits and determines the most appropriate method to ensure that the data is gathered from the source system and processed into the target system. Provides and manages the most suitable sustainable platform for the analysis of relevant data sets in audits,
- Creates, automates, maintains and optimizes scenarios used in continuous monitoring activities through code blocks created with SQL-PL/SQL and Python programming languages,
- Carries out subject-specific data analysis studies using multiple probability simulations, statistical and numerical analysis methods. Ensures that the outputs are delivered to the stakeholders in an interpretable format,
- Performs statistical anomaly analysis and anomaly detection on the data processed into the system in business processes. Shares the interpretable outputs with the process auditors,
- Provides support for the examination and auditing of artificial intelligence and machine learning models established in line with the company's business objectives in terms of data security, compliance with data protection laws and ethics,
- Provides support for the preparation of the Board of Directors and senior management dashboards and presentations regarding audit outputs,
- Adapts, develops and visualizes reporting and data analytics objectives with the reporting tools used in the company,
- Takes a proactive approach by closely following new research topics (data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc.) and produces innovative ideas that will serve audit's digital transformation.
