QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all required maintenance tasks IAW applicable maintenance manuals, company standards and procedures, and the competent aviation authority regulations.
- Supervise mechanics in performing their duties.
- Certifying all carried out tasks, and releasing to service aircrafts and components within the scope of held authorization.
- Carry out all required paper work related to the assigned task including filling different forms and making parts requests etc.
- Ensure that used test equipment and tools are serviceable, and are handled properly, also ensure equipment and tools are returned to their designated areas after use.
- Ensure that all used manuals are handled properly, and are returned to their designated areas after use.
- Follow Company issued publications such as MOE, Maintenance or Quality Department Instructions, other publications and internal memos.
- Following safety procedures, and using available protective equipment.
- Maintain good housekeeping within the mechanic premises, and working areas.
- Carry out other related work as assigned by the Chief Certifying Staff.
- Any other duties as required by Maintenance Manager.
Requirements:
- SHY-66 Category B1.3 license. (Type rating endorsement is NOT mandatory)
- Recent experience of working within a helicopter maintenance environment.
- Familiar with helicopter maintenance control and management systems.
- Good understanding of Safety Systems both SMS and H&S.
- Strong safety culture.
- The ability to work alone or as part of or lead a small team.
- Flexibility in regards to work routine.
- Experienced in mentoring of skilled fitters.
- Strong work ethic.
- Team player.
