This job posting is for civil sector projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generally backend development of existing and new projects/products. The candidate must play a significant role for features from development to deployment and be open to new technologies
Responsibilities
Developing apps using NodeJS with typescript
Designing and developing Restful APIs for new features
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
Support applications and provide upgrades and maintenance when needed.
Developing test methods for functions of all layers
Documenting Restful APIs that can be related to both new and existing features
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
2+ years' experience in software development
Experience in Node.js with typescript
Experience in JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience in unit/integration test development,
Experience in documenting Restful APIs like using Postman
Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
General knowledge about version control systems such as git
A passion to learn and keep up with the cutting edge technologies
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of web framework for Node.js such as express
Object oriented programming(OOP) experience like Java
Familiarity with frontend technologies like Vue.js or React.js
NoSQL database experience such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis
Familiarity with docker and kubernetes technologies
