QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a "Supply Chain Back Office Staff" with the following qualifications to work in our plant in Ayrancılar-Torbalı/İzmir, which operates in the industrial packaging business.

Preferred locations ; Torbalı, Gaziemir, Karabağlar, Üçyol, Üçkuyular.

Role purpose and scope:

  • Perform all back-office duties in a plant:
  • Process and adapt orders from intercompany - order to cash.
  • Process and adapt orders from customers – order to cash.
  • Communication with Replenishment function and Supply Chain Planner on product availability.
  • Communication with Commercial function for product availability, delivery time.

Responsibilities:

  • Order processing.
  • Export of finished goods.
  • Transport organization for export orders.
  • Plant communication towards Commercial function.
  • Demand communication towards Supply Chain Planners.
  • Maintenance of master records.
  • Complaint tracking.

Work duties:

  • Check commercial accuracy of intercompany orders, record and process orders entry in ERP-system in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Record and process invoices in ERP-system as deliveries has taken place.
  • All necessary customs processing for export shipments in accordance with country and EU regulations. Customs declarations, contact with customs office, customs audits etc.
  • Process and follow all export documentation. Provide all mandatory documentations to customs agency and forwarders to proceed export.
  • Booking of transportation in accordance with carrier agreements and pricing.
  • Update price agreements in ERP-system as per received instructions from management
  • Update master records for customers and items as needed.
  • Follow MR (material return process) in case of defective, wrong delivery etc.
  • Proactively inform I/C contacts and customers on updated delivery times as required.
  • Pass on any enquiries from customers to Commercial function.
  • Preparing all export files for finance records.
  • Check inventory, push all loadings to be completed as planned.

Requirements:

  • English language: B2 level or better.
  • Practical knowledge of logistics and customs operations.
  • Experience of working in an international environment.
  • Experience of working in a similar position – min 2 years.
