QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Six Senses Vision & Values

  • Fully understand and embrace Six Senses company vision and values and its application in all tasks associated with the host’s duty.
  • Adhere to all Six Senses brand standards ensuring successful communication across all levels of the operation.


Specific

  • Empowered to and applies the principles of the Six Senses Service Recovery philosophy in situations where service or product has failed to meet guest’s needs or expectations.
  • Conducting the Bell service activities such as luggage service upon guest's arrival and departure, luggage storage, message service delivery, parcel and mail hand-over, information service and other related tasks.
  • Opening the door of the car for the guest in a professional manner at the main entrance of the hotel and assisting to unload the luggage if any.
  • Tags the baggage with the proper claim checks and gives the guest his/her claim ticket for the baggage.
  • Parks the guest’s cars properly at parking area and gives the guests named car key ticket.
  • Unloads the baggage from the car or taxi and brings it inside to the Bell stand.
  • Rooming the guest in a professional way, which includes addressing the guest by name, holding the lift for guest and extending hotel introduction to guest, etc..
  • Being responsible for the cleanliness of the counter and the surrounding environment.
  • Distributing the newspaper to guest’s rooms and departments concerned.
  • Maintain professional image while on duty with well grooming hygiene and prescribed uniform.
  • Performs other duties within the position and department, as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by department head.
  • Ensure buggies are cleaned, charged and in order.
  • Applies and follows LQA and Six Senses standard operation procedures while performing his duties

General

  • Work and implement Six Senses best practice throughout the department with action plan.
  • Complete knowledge of Six Senses - policies and procedures; rules and regulations, facilities, services and statutory procedures.
  • Portray professional public relations and human relations skills at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments and be familiar with the entire resort premises.
