QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for highly collaborative “Category Manager” who will add value to our Merchandising &Planning team.


Requirements

· Minimum 8 years of “Category Management” experience in retail, especially in fashion industry

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,

· High level analytical skills,

· High MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Ability to work well under pressure, to handle a variety of tasks at the same time and within a dynamic organization.

· Strong problem solving and decision making skills,

· Highly collaborative working style and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.

· Understanding of common retail metrics such as sell-through, gross margin, ASP and etc.

· Ability to travel abroad

Job Description

  • Attending all seasonal presentations in Italy & making the seasonal buy for Turkey.
  • Manage seasonal product flow, pricing and lifecycle management in line with the Company's goals and vision.
  • Determines and develops strategies in line with market needs and trends.
  • Develop and present seasonal/weekly merchandise financial plan and sales budget as unit-based, value-based and profit-based in accordance with company goals, historical performance and market trend analysis,
  • Managing the seasonal inventory and budget , make decisions about discount, promotion and RPT-order.
  • Keep track of launch dates, make sure the products/collections are arriving on time.
  • Prepare reports by reviewing sales performance indicators regularly,
  • Improves seasonal buying budget process and creates new planning tools to support budget process
  • Responsible for category product presentation during sell in meetings & prepares line-sheets for franchise & key-account channel in sell-in time.
