BMS ( Bekaert Manufacturing Systems) Engineer

The Steelcord operations Turkey are part of our Advanced Wire Products. Bekaert wants to maintain and develop the Turkey plants as a world-class manufacturing unit, with customers in Turkey and other countries mainly in Europe.
Your Role/Job Description
• You take part in BMS (Bekaert Manufacturing Systems) projects and activities.
• You have active role to identify "Lean Management and BMS " training needs for the development areas
• You identify training needs by keeping the competency mapping system up to date.
• You have active role on Continuous Improvement activities, provide to share "Suggestion System" assessments to top management.
• You ensure the execution of the mini factory management system
• You ensure continuation of Autonomous Management, 5S and Process Control activities
• You follow BMS ShopFloor Basic Procedures
• You have active role to define tasks on process steps, take time studies with different operators for each tasks
• You have active role to create / revise Work Load Models (WLM) according to new time studies
Your Profile/Requirements
• You hold a university degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering
• 1-2 years of automotive industry experience is a bonus
• You have knowledge of lean thought, BMS techniques, industrial efficiency indicators, benefit - loss analysis, project management
• You are a results oriented team player with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• You have professional growth ambitions
• You can work autonomously, and you have a creative, innovative and flexible approach
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English (candidates will be expected to take the IELTS General Test)
• You should reside in Izmit/ Kocaeli
