What is YourMobileGuide?

YourMobileGuide is an innovative startup based in Istanbul with offices in Frankfurt.

We created an innovative audio guide system that acts as a personal travel guide on your smartphone. Travelers are offered an innovative and flexible way to discover cities, regions and museums individually – without needing any other devices other than their own smartphone. Our goal is to enhance our customers' individual travel experience with our self-guided audio tours written by local experts.

Furthermore, the platform is available to museums, tourist offices, tour guides, associations, private individuals and school classes who want to develop their own audio guide app professionally and cost-effectively.

About the position:

We are looking for an entrepreneurial salesperson who is eager to take full ownership of a market to grow our brand. You will be in the driver’s seat, driving growth and steering towards our ambitious expansion targets.

In this exciting role, you will act as an entrepreneur, and be responsible for the acquisition of museums, tourist offices, key attractions, and similar cultural venues.

The role is based in Istanbul, but your tasks also include traveling abroad, to visit and inform the relevant decision makers in these tourist offices, museums, etc. about our innovative audio guide system.

What we expect:

  • Identifying and reaching out to relevant candidates to join our brand
  • You will be responsible for the entire sales funnel from end to end: from acquisition through the negotiation of conditions, closing the deal and account management.
  • Based in Istanbul, but able and willing to travel frequently to relevant decision makers in the tourism industry abroad to present our service favorably and professionally face-to-face with the aim of winning new business.
  • You will visit our other offices in Europe on a regular basis to interact with our local team.
  • In coordination with the General Manager, you will implement the sales strategy in the market.
  • You will perform frequent data analysis and research the market, and take action based on findings.
  • You will develop sustainable revenue streams.
  • As an ambassador for of the YourMobileGuide brand, you will be responsible for building strong business relationships with new and existing clients.
  • You will be responsible for the growth in revenue, product inventory and other initiatives that will positively impact the brand

Your Profile:

  • Excellent command of English and German language: fluent in speaking and writing.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in field sales or similar.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Driving license
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with high flexibility
  • Exceptional ability to listen, convincing presentation skills, proven ability to negotiate.
  • Impeccable customer service attitude.
  • Strong analytical, numerical problem solving skills.
  • Ability to convincingly promote the quality image of the company.
  • Result-driven, persistent “doer”.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Loyal, team player.
  • Solid Microsoft Office knowledge: Teams, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable working under time pressure, managing multiple priorities with deadlines.
