Our research station is sited in Serik near to the city Antalya. At our location in Serik there is a vacancy for an assistant breeder for our tomato breeding activities
Breeder assistant Tomatoes
JOB DESCRIPTION In the function of Breeder assistant there are a wide variety of job-activities involved. Working very close together with the Breeder you are working intense in the breeding process organizing sowing, planting, crossing activities, leaf sampling for marker analysis, following and observing trials at our station but also outside our station at farmer locations. You are taking care of the administration and reporting. You are very well capable of working independent, but you are a good team player and together with the Breeder and the colleagues from the crop maintenance department you show your good communicative skills to keep this breeding project a good success.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Agricultural engineer degree
· Working precise and flexible with a practical and enthusiastic attitude.
· Being creative and attributing with ideas to optimize and improve the breeding process
· Good communicative skills
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Good speaking and writing English
· Drivers licence B
