What we can offer you! - Your Role:
In this role of high impact as IT Infrastructure Specialist for our 600+ people site, we are looking for a curious mind to join our high performing team in Saray, Turkey, directly reporting to our IT Manager Turkey & Middle East.
Your Mission:
On a daily basis, and by traveling up to 20% of your time across our business(es) and site(s), you will be the backbone of all our computer-related technology in Saray, and across Turkey to provide first-class support of our endpoint computing and site infrastructure, to be our local “smart-hand”, on-call go-to-person as well as to provide continuous improvement to our technology and processes.
For this “smart-hand” support, you will manage and oversee our endpoint devices (i.e., laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, thin clients, etc.) throughout their lifecycle including provisioning, refresh, asset management, and decommissioning.
By diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to occurring issues, you will be a technical advisor to our management and end-users to ensure that we have the proper IT equipment to be successful.
With your IT affinity, your clear understanding of our business needs, as well as your eye for continuous improvement, you think outside the box and you will assist in implementing best practices next to our Avery Dennison IT standards in order to utilize our IT resources more effectively.
Qualifications
What we expect from you! - Your Expertise:
Previous work experience of 3+ years in information technology, and infrastructure, ideally within the manufacturing
(University) degree, ideally with a major in IT, Business Administration or Computer Science
Experience in performing software installations and program updates as well as troubleshooting and problem resolution on computer, server, network, and telecommunication systems
Knowledge around information systems environments and understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Google Workspace, and function-specific software, i.e. OT devices (PLC), and ICT (information & communication technology) infrastructure
Strong communication skills in Turkish, and English
