QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a “Budget and Planning Professional/Leader” who will take a role in the Finance Department of Bilgi University.
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Business Administration, Economics, Engineer or a relevant discipline with successful academic record, MBA is also an asset,
- 5 – 8 years of experience in a FP&A/Budget department of a multinational company,
- Fluency both written and spoken in English,
- Proficiency in MS Office applications,
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment,
- Highly analytical, comfortable with big data and detail oriented, problem solving mindset,
- Sound knowledge of USGAAP/IFRS and Turkish GAAP.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting the academic and administrative departments during the Budget, Forecast and Long-Range Plan periods,
- Effectively & timely manage monthly, quarterly and annual planning and reporting requirements,
- Periodically meet with budget owners in order to understand analyze the drivers of actual vs budget variances,
- Monthly preparation of expense reports by cost centers,
- Present actual vs budget operational expenses on a monthly basis,
- Identify risks and oppurtunities on a monthly basis closely working with budget owners and prepare risk and opportunities report.
