Koç University Information Technology Directorate will be hiring a Business Analyst with the below mentioned qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field preferred
- Technical background, 2-4 years working with software development teams as a business analyst is preferred
- A strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility
- Ability to translate complex technical ideas into simple, easy to understand content
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and English
- Excellent analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills combined with sound business judgment in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Good overview of latest IT trends
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge about test scenarios and test techniques
- Knowledge about creating UAT scenarios
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Agile practices
- No military obligation for male candidates
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Translate customer requirements and challanges into detailed product analysis
- Conduct product requirement meetings with business and engineering teams to develop the most optimal solution
- Document the needs with user stories, prepare mock-up and flow diagrams and transform them into analysis documents, transfer them to the development teams, ensure the correct communication between the business and software teams
- Analyzing existing systems and offering new ideas for improvement
- Analyzing the prepared UI/UX designs and ensuring their suitability to the business needs
- Making research on technical trends and reporting new features
- Gaining knowledge of company policies , protocols and processes
- Have full knowledge of the inner system, ie. Databases & Services & Flows, behind the user interface.
- Bringing positive energy into the company , forming lasting professional relationships with staff
- Prepare system test cases and perform test steps to mitigate defects in test/production environments.
- Take responsibility end to end, ensure that the team’s output is equivalent to the requirements
- Collaborate with other IT units and business units as needed
- Identify and monitor key user operational metrics to help drive improvements to the responsible IT Services and support offerings
- Performs other duties as needed
