QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Having entered the chemical distribution business in 1912, afterwards seeking a worldwide range of expansion meanwhile founded also in Turkey, in 2005; recording significant progress in the development of a continuous business focus with respect of quality and customer satisfaction now looks for an hands-on Business Development Manager who will be an intricate part of the commercial perception, responsible for developing and delivering value-added sales activities to our company’s daily practice.

Our Business Development Manager will also manage our Cosmetics & Cleaning Lab and be part of our sales force in regards of developing new business!

JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIRED BUSINESS ACUMEN

Taking over customers’ following up their all projects, payment terms, documentation & sample requests to be organized, ordering plan with Product Managers.

Sending revised quotations as a result of price increases.

Directing and managing the lab team and studying appropriate formulas with them.

Finding new customer opportunities and support them.

Ensuring the development of the lab assistants in formula studies.

Practising market research, creation of suitable formulas.

Establishing connection between suppliers and customers and answering technical questions.

Supporting lab R&D presentations and guiding the lab team about the monthly bulletin.

Answering daily routine questions from the sales team and customers.

Answering questions from suppliers and creating a weekly plan for the lab.

Talking with customers about the introduction of new products and their projects & technical questions by making a video call & phone meetings.

Guiding and helping lab assistants about lab & and finished product layout

Supporting lab formula studies.

Following up supplier projects and making supplier new concept presentations to customers.

Directing the lab assistants to record the projects and outgoing formulas.

Trying to find solutions to technical problems, especially from key customers, before asking to the supplier.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, preferably from reputable universities.

- 3-6 years of trackable experience of R&D and formulation development in Coloured Cosmetics & Cleaning industries, account management, planning and implementing sales strategies.

- Fluency in English and excellent numeric and financial-reinterpretation skill set.

- Ability to maintain long-lasting relations in customer management with excellent communication and process management skills.

- Strong commercial outlook and sales approach to account management.
