Required Experience and Education

- 4 year degree in business, engineering or a related field

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales/channel development of Telecommunications and or Satellite Solutions to large enterprise customers or system entegrators

- Proven ability to deliver target revenues over long lead times through growing/incentivising an indirect/direct channel to market and via generating new business opportunities with end customers

- Sufficient technical background and ability to understand key terminology within the VSAT, Space and Satellite markets

- A track record of meeting and preferably exceeding aggressive sales targets

- Demonstrable ability to build trusting relationships, conduct business with cultural sensitivity and possess strong knowledge of the MEA marketplace

- Obvious leadership qualities – ability to influence, negotiate and direct the activity and investment of key partners for Profen's benefit

- Strong understanding of the telco marketplace will be an advantage

- Highly effective and professional verbal and written communication skills with team and internal/external customers.

- Ability to travel for business regularly.

- Fluency in English both verbal and written

Job Description

- Develop and implement a sales strategy to engage existing/new partners across the region to quickly identify opportunities forming a strong pipeline for new business in Europe and North America, Middle East and Africa

- Meet the allocated revenue targets for new business with existing/new partners in the targeted region

- Through a network of contacts, or market research, identify, contact, negotiate and close potential new partner relationships

- Work with existing/new partners to increase uptake of Profen products and services and to drive revenue growth

- Provide full support, reply to their inquiries timely, maintain contract prices current, conduct product demos, training, and develop marketing and sales plans

- Identify and realise new market opportunities with existing/new partners; assist in negotiating commercial terms and pricing effectively on behalf of Profen

- Develop and maintain an effective account plan which addresses the strategic approach to growing revenue with each assigned market channel. This will include promotion, publicity, ensuring enablement of existing/new partners to reach more end users with Profen services

- Maintain an accurate, up to date pipeline to meet pipeline targets as set out by senior management on a quarterly/yearly basis

- Work closely with internal stakeholders and existing/new partners to ensure growth of market share from competitors

- Act as the main point of contact for existing/new partners on all issues – commercial and technical

- Remain accessible and act with urgency to ensure Profen retains its reputation for reliability

- Working closely with Profen Product Management and Engineering Team to analyse customer requirements and to help define Profen product offerings, including support for the customer

- Understanding Profen’s current and future product and service portfolio

- Learning and then teaching service concepts and sharing application knowledge with Partners to help them identify and sell Profen product offerings to their customers

- Provide support at local and regional trade shows and conferences.
