QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for Buyer candidates to work at Mecalac Izmir Facility in Aegean Free Zone.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical/ Industrial/ Management Engineering Departments or equivalents
- Experienced in construction machine industry for 2~3 years
- Experienced in steel purchasing (as semi-product or final product)
- Experienced in machining services and purchasing machined components
- Knowledge of technical drawings and tolerancing
- Knowledge of hydraulics and/or plastics purchasing experience will be an asset
- Fluent in English spoken and written (Knowledge of French and/or German will be an asset)
- Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally
- Knowledge of MS Office programs
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to priorities and plan effectively
- Analytical thinking, dynamic, team player, good interpersonal skills
- Driving License (B level is required)
- No restrictions to enter Schengen area and UK
- No military obligation for male candidates
Job Description
- Analyze and identify local and abroad suppliers for the different kind of parts
- Negotiate with suppliers to reach optimum price which will maintain stability and continuity of the product
- Transfer Mecalac technical requirements of the products correctly to the suppliers
- Prepare cost reduction plans for different kind of machine assemblies and welded products
- Prepare transfer cost calculations of buy&sell parts and communicate with Mecalac Group companies
- Prepare and report monthly BOM cost development of different kind of products
- Manage procurement of consumables
