QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Mata Automotive is a global leading full-service supplier of decorative interior and exterior components in original premium materials to the global automotive industry. Mata is looking for a colleague in the “CAD Design Engineer” role for its Turkey factory with the job descriptions and qualifications below.
Accountable for:
- Understand and analyze requirements in contractual, technical documents
Responsible for:
- Under supervision, carrying out the part design process and preparing the design specification,
- Apppliying for drawing codification and submission process,
- Designing Control Fixtures, Molding process,
- Working on design of FMEA studies.
Core Competencies:
- Self-starter with a high degree of comfort with ambiguity.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Intellectually curious and demonstrated ability to learn independently.
- Accuracy with numbers and attention to detail.
Specific Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience with CAD (preferablyCATIA V5)
- Experienced in reading 3D - 2D Drawing and Gd&T,
Education & Experience:
- Graduating BS preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degree.
- At least four years of full-time design experience in the automotive industry is recommended.
- To be fluent in English.
