QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

For our R&D Department in Izmir, serving to different automotive companies around the world, we are looking for new team member as a CAD Designer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Machine Design Construction, or graduated Department of Technical Teacher or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably 3 years of job experience in similar positions in Automotive
- Experience in the 3D design of metallic parts design plastic parts in industrial environment, preferably using CATIA V5.
- Experience in 2D Drawing preparation, including GD&T and tolerance stackup analyses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Completed military service for male candidates
- Well-structured, organized, efficient and accurate working manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interaction
- Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions
- Good intercultural understanding as well as no restriction for travelling abroad
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for developing, maintaining, and releasing product engineering deliverables and specifications such as: 3D Models, 2D Component and Assembly Drawings
- Use product specific calculation tools (excel, Catia GPS module, FEA methods) to ensure that design fulfills customer specifications.
- Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) considering manufacturing processes in assembly and single part drawings
- Create the BOM (Bill of Material) for all assemblies
- Design of prototypes, test fixtures, adapters
- Supporting R&D Project Engineers located globally
- Transferring CAD Models and Drawings to customers, suppliers and plants globally
- Clearly follow PDM and CAD rules and procedures of ZF
