QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the candidate will be:

· Follow the current laws and regulations in the operating offices

· Prepare the data for consulting companies during the EIA/ESIA preparations, permitting process,

· Prepare the necessary environment documentations and reports for the management and authorities,

· Prepare obligations register and permit register for the operations

· Follow the renewal process for the permits

· Provide support to maintain site compliance with permits and environmental regulatory requirements.

Assist site team on preparing environmental aspects & impact assessment,

· Responsible for providing support to Director for ongoing and future environmental projects,

· Responsible for collecting proposals related to environmental issues, and

· Understanding and fully adhering to company’s environment, health and safety policies and procedures.

· Provide support for establishment, implementation and maintenance of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) and Document Control Management System.

Qualification, Skills/Experience required in achieving this Role:

· Degree in Environmental Engineering with 2-3 years of working experience,

· Previous experience with ISO 14001 is highly desired,

· Knowledge of Turkish EIA and international ESIA requirements,

· Knowledge of International performance standards,

· Experience on mining projects is a preference,

· Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal,

· Strong interpersonal and influencing skills,

· Computer knowledge with experience using Microsoft Office products, and

· Flexible to travel.

· The candidate should have a valid driving license and the military service should be served.
