CHANNEL SPECIALIST | BASF VEGETABLE SEEDS | MUĞLA | FULL TIME

At BASF Vegetable Seeds, it is our ambition to make healthy eating enjoyable and sustainable. Together and in collaboration with partners we are eager to improve our vegetable varieties and solutions for our customers, the vegetable value chain and consumers worldwide. To further develop and grow this ambition we are looking for a Channel Specialist for Muğla Region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Create demand on the market - personal contact with customers (farms & sales channel) and cooperation with distribution network,

· Steering sales at end user level (farm),

· Manage CRM – update database information about farms from the region,

· Forecasting & Reporting – Budgeting sales within sub-region (as a part of CRM),

· Provide Risk & Opportunities information from the region,

· MAS implementation in the region (focus on defined customers with interlink to other functions),

· RepresentBASF’s Vegetable Seeds Business in the region (trainings, customer events, complain management),

· Monitor market, collect & report market intelligence (collect data relevant for agro business, update about distribution, competitors & other relevant stakeholders in a compliance frame),

· Ensure compliance withBASF’s Vegetable Seeds Business Vision, Values, Principles and Compliance Code,

· Ensure behavior according toBASF’s Vegetable Seeds Business Culture.

· Plan & Realize all Sales Activities (multicrop) in sub-region,

· Focus on all crop targets in sub-region,

· Support Market Development Specialist, Crop Specialist, steer Crop Specialism in sub-region,

· Drive Sales Channel in Company Strategies,

· Focus all crop targets in sub-region,

· Reports to Regional Sales Manager – South.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· University degree, preferable in Agricultural Engineering,

· Min 3 years of experience in the agro business (preferably),

· Fluency in English,

· Good knowledge of the local crop market,

· Strong commercial and market orientation,

· Excellent customer relationship management and customer focus,

· Excellent social and connection skills,

· Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
