Requirements:
- Experience with shipowner/operator setup or trading houses will be a plus,
- Experience handling charter-party and familiar with CP terms,
- Strong experience with freight management system,

Responsibilities:
- Negotiate charter party terms with charterers/operators/brokers,
- Provide advice on commercial matters affecting operations and demurrage risk exposure,
- Explore and maintain long-term business relationships with owners and charterers,
- Provide accurate and timely shipping information to trading teams to facilitate smooth trading activities,
- Monitor the market, follow-up cargoes and retrieve business opportunities,
- Analyse and understand pros / cons of different employment opportunities (spot, period, etc.),
- Liaise with operations and technical teams to ensure that any unexpected event or technical issue is properly managed to avoid commercial disruption,
- Ensure proper reporting of the commercial activity to the management and other corporate functions,
- Perform voyage calculations and compare possibilities in accordance with market trends and corporate guidelines,
- Ensure the KYC with operation dept. for any Charterers to be in line with law and group policies,
- Prepare fixture notes and other commercial reports to the benefit of the management.
