QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Engineer with the following specifications for our company that provides design and engineering services in the automotive industry for local and international platforms.

· Bachelor or Master Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or equivalent engineering programs,

· Knowledge or experienceabout Chassis Systems (Suspension – Steering – Brake) applications,

· Proficient in the use of engineering software (preferably Catia and/or NX),

· Knowledge on the chassis components, definition of the technical specifications and designparameters,

· Basic knowledgein vehicle dynamics,

· Knowledge about multi-body simulation (preferably ADAMS Car),

· Experience in kinematic analysis for mechanical systems,

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

· Experience in preparation of DFMEA and DVP documents,

· Highly motivated and able to adapt to dynamic working pace,

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,

· Excellent ability for interdisciplinary and cross-location collaboration,

· Strong communication and representation skills,

· Having at least B classdriver license and actively able to drive,

· Accommodatenear in İstanbul (Anatolian) or Kocaeli,

· Knowledge on Matlab/Simulink and System Modeling (plus)


JOB DESCRIPTION

· Conducting relevant market research for systems to be designed and determining the competitors’ situations in terms of cost weight functionality.

· Detailing and reporting of different concepts in line with relevant market research and vehicle design requirements.

· Designing and selecting components for the Brake&Suspension&Steering Systems;working in collaboration with other relevant teams.

· System design parameters&requirements definition which complies with the related regulations.

· Creation and follow-up of part designs, system integrations, validation and test plans in line with the selected design requirements.

· Creating relevant supplier information request forms in line with the selected design requirements.

· Sharing the created information or questionnaire forms with the suppliers, receiving offers and following the supplier selection process in integration with the purchasing department, supplying the parts in the prototype production processes.

· Chasing all development activities in the process up to mass production.

· Chasing prototype production and pre-series operations of completed systems.

· Design optimization studies according to the results of CAE analysis and validation test activities carried out within the scope of design processes.

· Periodic report preparation and presentation duringdevelopment phase.

· Follow-up and manage2D and 3D design studies.

· Detection and elimination ofdesign problems during prototype phase
