QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

/ Providing supervision, mentorship and leadership of mechanical designers and guiding them on technical challenges in a global perspective
/ Identify and manage training, learning & coaching opportunities, and needs for all team members and organize daily jobs with team members, in terms of part responsibilities by utilizing systems engineering best practices.
/ Development and design of complex components, assemblies, and systems according to the BSH product development processes
/ Subsystem responsibilities in the product architecture system, strongly contribute to global and regional product & innovation strategies incl. roadmap planning
/ Reducing technical complexity, coordination of prototyping and pre-series in product projects, Support of Reverse Engineering activities and collaborating with international team leaders and cross-functional teams to scope, plan and monitor engineering activities
Your Profile
/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar field of engineering), Master's Degree preferred
/ Min. 5yearsworking experience in the development and design of consumer products, also min. 3years of project experience(experience in home appliances is a plus)
/ Good understanding of manufacturing and GQM;(advanced knowledge at BSH internal systems & processes, and production methods is a plus)
/ Experience regarding development tools and modular designs to create scaling effects and experience in NX, MSOffice,SAP, Team Center
/ Excellent communication,presentation and persuasion skills and analytical and result-oriented thinking,team player, self-managed,assertive and intercultural awareness.
