Job Description
- Ensure the requested chemical characterization of materials, through the use of internal/external equipment and competencies, storing the results in the laboratory database.
- Manage the process of analysis, in close collaboration with other functions, of different
characterization needs.
- Identify/apply the most suitable methods for the experiments and better data-processing criteria for the results obtained, also by formulating test protocols for specific needs.
- Manage the process of theoretical or empirical modelling for measuring the test-results.
- Manage the process of Quality controls at plant level, and may support the R&D Materials
- Technologist by carrying out the required tests in order to homologate raw materials and suppliers.
- Verify the correct calibration of laboratory instruments/tools.
- Communicate and interact with research institutions outside the company
- Identify new opportunities for "external" characterization or for new suppliers of laboratory equipment/tools.
- To apply all the requirements of related Quality Management Systems (TS EN ISO 9001, IATF 16949, TS EN ISO 14001, TS ISO 45001, TS ISO/IEC 27001, TS EN ISO 50001, ISO/IEC 17025)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry for chemistry laboratories,
- Experienced in the use of instrumental analysis devices and chemical test methods,
- Preferably worked in the tyre industry,
- Having a good level of MS Office usage,
- Good command of English,
- Strong ability to analyze and solve problems,
- Having high teamwork and communication skills,
- Military service must be completed for male candidates
