QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
General Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent study (Master’s Degree is a plus),
- Preferably Min 2 years of experience in the insurance industry (energy/construction erection businesses and related liabilities)
- Knowledge of facultative reinsurance, treaty and placement process
- Great analytical and structured thinking abilities to solve and diagnose problems,
- Eager to learn and grow in a demanding business environment
- Excellent command of MS Office applications,
- Business-fluent ( written and spoken ) in English and Turkish
- Ability to effectively assess risk
- Ability to work in a team- based environment
- Having improved sense of responsibility
- Proven intercultural competence and team player in multidisciplinary enviroments.
Job Description :
- Designing & controlling of specific quotations and policies to ensure safe profitable distribution of risks,
- Monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations and rating manuals,
- Conducting the placement process of specialty lines and projects with local and/or global insurance and/or reinsurance markets,
- Demonstrating specialized energy, construction, erection and liability policies knowledge and expertise in industry,
- To work at the highest authority limits on assignments utilizing the highest degree of technical complexity and coordination,
- To develop and maintain relationships with Regional Offices& Reinsurers& agents & brokers in support of business retention and acquisition and to work with customers and distributors (Regional Offices& agents & brokers) to determine their insurance related needs and provide solutions,
- Cooperating with multiple teams and provide added-value to the company.
- To handle & review large/complex underwriting submissions and annual underwriting reviews.
- To generate and review large claims monthly,
- Management and monitoring of acquired portfolio.
Reporting & analyzing the UWY and Accounting year performance /profitability of the products to the top management.
