Continuous Improvement Engineer - 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Job Location: Cerkezköy, TR
Job Description
This position will be responsible for supporting and driving improvement through the application of lean principles to rapidly improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity. The CI Engineer will develop strong partnerships across the organization and promote a consistent, data-driven approach to continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
· Lead or assist process optimization/waste elimination projects aligned with Site and Business Unit KPI improvement plans
· Develop Value Stream Maps or Process Maps to identify improvement opportunities for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
· Implement continuous improvement methodologies including but not limited to VSM, Standart Work, 5S, Lean, and other loss savings and productivity improving activities.
· Identify, plan and lead Kaizen initiatives primarily focused on High Mix/Low Volume manufacturing, packaging and distribution operations.
· Instruct and coach Lean Six Sigma topics in support of improvement projects, Kaizen workshops and Business Unit processes
· Build effective working relationships throughout the site, interact with shop floor supervisors, associates and plant management to meet objectives.
· Conducts root causes analysis to address specific process or quality problems
· Develops SOP’s, work instructions, and other quick reference material as needed
Background & Skills
· The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or similar
· Have at least 2 years of experience in Operations
· Lean experience in a manufacturing environment is mandatory
· Excellent communication skills and fluent in English.Strong analytical and project management skills
