QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Managing / Leading “Hutchinson Excellence System” entegration. Monitor and improve organizational processes for making them as efficient as possible. In this role as the continuous improvement manager need to map out all workflows, remove waste and non-value-added activities and recommend solutions to improve them. Use recognized methodologies such as but not limited to (Kaizen and Six Sigma), he/she takes the lead in implementing changes, acting as a coach and a business partner throughout all areas of the organization.

Task Definition:

  • Development and deployment of Hutchinson excellence system focusing on process improvement, standardization, cycle-time reduction, cost, productivity, product quality and employee safety.
  • Analyze existing business processes using various methods such as VSM/VSD, gap analysis and PDCA to find opportunities for improvement as well as losses which after further analysis leads to the determination of a root cause,
  • Support the organization in rolling out LEAN/CI through. Developing short and long term strategies for the organization and incorporating Six Sigma, Agile and other recognized practices,
  • Coordinate and lead key projects for improvements across all levels of the organization. Lead cross functional teams directly and/or collaborate with managers to re-engineer processes,
  • Establish measurable standards at beginning of each project and then compare actual projects results to monitor and report progress in order to check if changes are yielding the desirable results
  • Create measurement tools for clearly defined, standard KPIs,
  • Develop and implement Visual Management tools so as to ensure the organization is focused on its mission statement and applicable KPIs,
  • Serve as coach to coordinate workshops and team trainings, openly sharing his/her guidance and technical expertise and ensure that learning resources are widely available,
  • Knowledge transfer with other locations of the company and best practices exchange within the business/ Benchmarking activities with other Hutchinson plant,
  • Participation of plant strategy and long term plan deployment,
  • Establish & coordinate the cross functional team in scope of Hutchinson Excellence system,
  • Making Self assessment yearly and corporate audit management in scope of Hutchinson Excellence System (system maturity & KPIs),
  • Managing MTM activities and reporting the outputs,
  • Managing & analyzing digital transformation initiatives,
  • Layout management of company, financial & operational feasibility of upcoming growth projects,
  • Managing of Suggestion System,
  • Following of annual company targets.


Profile

  • Bachelor degree in quality, process, industrial engineering or similar practical experience is desirable,
  • Minimum of 5-7 years proven continuous improvement analytical experience in related industries, such as automotive, aerospace or similar,
  • Training and certification related to Green Belt is an asset,
  • Excellent coaching and leadership skills,
  • Having a presentation skills, analytical and systematic
  • Good communication skills,
  • Experience in cross functional team management,
  • Good command of English verbal & written.
