QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant departments (Economics, Business Administration, Finance)
• Good knowledge of Turkish tax legislation and generally accepted accounting principles
• 3-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable & Cost Accounting
• SAP Knowledge is a must
• Advanced level of English and/or German
• Advanced coordinating, organizing and communicating skills
• Tolerance to work under stress, self-starter, self-motivator
• High level of empathy and convincing ability

Job Description

• Follow up changes and updates in tax legislations and IFRS; analysis of their impacts on the company and timely implementation; informing related departments about the changes;
• Controlling, recording and archiving of all purchase invoices for goods and services (vehicles, spare parts, superstructure, services from DAG, services from third parties, general expenses, etc.)
• Issuing return, correction of mistaken amount and price difference invoices with suppliers
• Controlling and recording of the invoices related to special buys (electronic or paper invoice)
• Analyzing price differences and correction
• Perform reconciliation with suppliers
• Participating in and auditing inventory counting process
• Control of vehicle invoices; recording of import related costs (freight, warehouse, superstructure, etc.)
• Control and booking of customs broker's services fee and freight invoices
• Vehicle costing related activities incl. follow up of related data (vehicle BM, stock and unit reporting, broadcast fee, insurance, superstructure, additional taxes, A.Tr tax records, CoGS)
• Preparation of monthly vehicle costings reports
• Calculation and booking of vehicle aging and NRV
• Key User for SAP MM module
• Participating in accounting system and process development projects; preparation of detailed demand for necessary enhancements, developments and reports; performing the analysis
