QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for 'Cost Control Specialist' for our Turkey Plant, will take a role in supply chain department with the qualifications below;

Graduated from Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Business Adminstration departments in universities
Fluent in English - both verbal and written
Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in manufacturing practices preferably in Automotive OEM / Automotive Tier
Proficiency in MS Office Programs especially in Excel & PowerPoint
Good Knowledge on SAP and experience on ERP environment
Good communication skills to engage with suppliers of different culture, size and manufacturing technology
No military obligation for male candidate
Valid driving license and being active driver
Availability to travel domestic supplier site
Living or willing to relocate Manisa / İzmir

Roles and Responsibilities

Estimate the tooling and part cost for all commodities (casting, forging, sheet metal fabrication and two bin parts)
Negotiate and settle the cost increase requests raised from suppliers due to raw material / process level increase
Work on zero based costing for new products for critical parts along with buyers.
Identify and organise for subscription of raw material prices indices for all commodities.
Proactively manage prices and implements the cost revisions on time
Identify the avenues where cost can be reduced through process / design
Co-ordinate for value engineering / cost reduction / alternate source developments with R&D, SQA, PED and logistics team
Prepare monthly/weekly reports for the price revisions for approval.
Co-ordinate with Indian pricing cell for concurrence on the price revisions.
Create and maintain price master for all the NPD, regular and upcoming projects.
