Prometeia S.p.A., a leading provider of software solutions and consulting services in the fields of Risk Management, Financial Analysis, Data Science and Planning for Financial Institutions, would like to ensure the continuous growth of its activities in the Credit Risk Management domain. Therefore, we are looking for aCredit Risk Consultant. The position is based in our Istanbul branch and involves continuous cooperation with our headquarters in Italy.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will join a specialized team based in İstanbul, operating within credit risk modelling and advisory projects for financial intermediaries. The consultant will support the project managers in the management of the activities relating to the following areas.

• Development and implementation of risk parameter estimation (PD, LGD, EAD), satellite and ECL (IFRS 9) models;
• Development and implementation of portfolio models (Credit VaR) and stress testing;
• Model validation,
• Credit risk advisory
• Advanced Analytics

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• A bachelor’s degree or a master's degree with excellent marks in Economics/Finance, Statistics or Engineering coupled with sound quantitative knowledge is required.
• Solid working experience in credit risk modelling is a distinctive factor

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in both verbal and written English is a must
• Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail
• Assertive and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated driver of performance
• The management skills to meet the required deadlines
• Practical application of statistical modelling techniques
• Experience of using mathematical/statistical computing software or other data mining skills
• Proficiency and hands-on experience in coding with Python
• Hands-on academic and/or industry experience on one or more of the frameworks and libraries: pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, sci-kit-learn is nice to have
• Experience in relational SQL and NoSQL (Redis, Mongo DB, Cassandra) databases
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills e.g. excel, word, PowerPoint and access
