QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Döktaş Iron Casting has been founded in 1973 in Orhangazi county of Bursa city is the biggest and leader foundry in Turkey. In Bursa Orhangazi facilities cast iron, nodular cast iron and machining activities and in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone facilities high and low pressured aluminum cast and aluminum rim production are being carried on.

Döktaş has joined GÜRİŞ Holding in July 2018.

Döktaş with its annual production capacity of 155.000 tons of cast iron, 15.000 tons of aluminum cast and 1.200.000 pieces of rim, produces aluminum, nodular cast iron and grey cast iron to the automotive, construction machinery, agricultural machinery and machinery manufacturers.

Being in 202nd rank in ISO Top 500 Companies List in 2020, Döktaş has an important place in Turkish economy with its approximate 2800 employees.

We are looking for innovative, business oriented, team spirited“Customer Quality Engineer” to join our team for Döktaş plant in Bursa – Orhangazi which is the leading company in foundry sector, with the following qualifications:

  • Graduated engineering degree, preferably in mechanical or metallurgical engineering,
  • Strong customer orientation,
  • Good problem solving skills ( 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why etc.) and ability to think analytically
  • Knowledge of ISO/ IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 system (PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA), ISO 9001
  • Konwledge of reading 2D drawing
  • Experience at least 3 years in quality, technical operations, project engineering preferably in cast iron components
  • Excellent mechanical comprehension with the ability to understand, describe and discuss problems of a technical nature,
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
  • Good capacity for analytical and problem solving,
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
  • Experience in automotive field would be a plus,
  • Willingness for occasional travel domestic and abroad is a must,
  • Must have driving license and active driving experience,
  • No military obligation for male candidates

Job Description

  • To understand standarts, spesifications, customer spesific requirements and design expectations
  • Providing accurate and timely information on customer quality issues
  • Handling the customer complains
  • Coordinating sorting and containment activities
  • Analyzing performance data and reviewing with the customer
  • Supporting customer product and process changes on our products
  • To utilize the initial 8D report for customer complaint
  • Planning workshops aiming to solve quality problems permanently by analyzing preventive actions while reaching root causes investigating the process
  • Leading the customer complaints handling and following up the customer complaint actions on process
  • Support QM system
  • Updating control procedures in the mean of current critical points/customer complaints
  • Reporting periodically performance of quality (PPM)
