Basic qualifications
· Undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
· 2+ years of industry or academic research experience in one or more of the following areas : Operations Research, Optimization, Machine Learning
· A working knowledge of mathematical programming techniques (i.e. linear programming, mixed-integer programming) accompanied by associated expertise in the use of tools and the latest technology for solving them (i.e. OR-Tools, CPLEX, Gurobi).
· The ability to implement models and tools through the use of scripting languages (i.e. Python, R)
· Good communication skills with both technical and business people.
· Experience with statistical analysis.
Preferred qualifications
· Familiarity with logistics concepts – planning, forecasting, optimization and logistics
· Experience working effectively with software engineering teams.
· Familiarity with SQL and experience with very large-scale data. The ability to manipulate and analyze data by writing scripts (in Python, R, etc) is a plus.
· Experience with machine learning and data-modeling in a database environment.
