Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Data Analytics And Modelling Manager, to lead a growing team of data scientists and drive the following areas:
- Lead and develop a data science team delivery and accountability for results,
- Drive thought leadership and innovation on data science,
- Proactively identify new opportunities to accelerate the growth of the team,
- Support hiring, mentoring and career development of datascientists to build inclusive, and ambitious data science teams.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years working experience in data science and 2+ years experience in a managerial position,
- Proven track record of success leading data science teams,
- Strong theoretical and applied skills in Machine Learning and Statistics/Econometrics,
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines,
- Strong knowledge of statistics, predictive modelling, machine learning algorithms/ frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn) and deep learning frameworks (e.g. Tensorflow, Keras),
- Extensive hands-on experience in one or more statistical software(s) such as R or Matlab,
- Experience in SAP HANA and BW,
- Strong coding abilities in one or more scripting languages like Python or SQL,
- Fundamental understanding of hypothesis testing, A/B testing, experimental designs,
- Experience with time series forecasting and anomaly detection,
- Experience in applied Data Science (supervised or unsupervised learning),
- Experience in cloud technologies (Azure),
- Experience in Hadoop, Hive, Spark, NoSQL,
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
